For nearly 50 years SNSC has been a part of the Summit County community providing access to Nordic skiing for young athletes.

Our Mission

TO PROVIDE THE YOUTH OF SUMMIT COUNTY WITH A WELL-BALANCED SKI RACING PROGRAM INCLUDING FITNESS, SELF-ESTEEM AND CHARACTER BUILDING THROUGH TRAINING AND COMPETITION WITHIN A NURTURING ENVIRONMENT.  THE CLUB WILL EDUCATE OUR YOUTH ABOUT VALUES OF SPORTS, HEALTHY COMPETITION, INDIVIDUAL EFFORT AND TEAM SPIRIT.

This Nordic team is also very important to me because with them, I feel as if I am in a supportive, and encouraging environment with many people trying to help me improve.”
— Opal Koning, SNSC Skier
