Race License

NEW THIS SEASON (2020-21) ALL SNSC ATHLETES MUST HAVE A USSA LICENSE TO PARTICIPATE WITH SNSC (OUR LIABILITY INSURANCE REQUIRES IT).

Please make sure you get a COMPETITOR'S LICENSE (U16 and older) or a GENERAL LICENSE (U14 and younger). This license will allow your USSA points to be tracked year to year, which is important. This year your RMN License will be included with your USSA license. This is a new policy voted in by the RMN board. If you have any questions, contact Whitney@summitnordicskiclub.org.

You will need to choose your are class based on your birth year — the can be a bit non-intuitive so use the chart below to figure out which age class your athlete will race in. This is dictated by USSA and FIS and there is no flexibility.

Birth year (age in 2021) Class

2001 - 2002 (18 - 19) U20

2003 - 2004 (16 - 17) U18

2005 - 2006 (14 - 15) U16

2007 - 2008(12 - 13) U14

2009 - 2010 (10 - 11) U12

When you register with SNSC for races you will need to have your USSA number. It is used to track your results and rank you on the national ranking list. You will not be able to race without having this number.
